CDI Engineering Solutions is a multi-disciplinary engineering organization offering a full range of integrated engineering design, project support, procurement and construction management services to the energy and chemicals industries.
CDI Engineering Solutions is seeking an Electrical Engineer with 8+ years of industrial experience to work at our office in Midland, Michigan.
Lead projects from front end loading to detail design and construction, including procurement, cost, and schedule management.
Specify Electrical Equipment (switchgear, motor control centers, VFD’s, lighting, etc.).
Perform Electrical Calculations (load studies, voltage drop, motor starting analysis, conduit/cable tray sizing, etc.)
Review design documents, prepare estimates, and develop Bid-Ready Construction packages.
Understand and apply the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70). Familiarity with NFPA 70E (Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace)
Able to work efficiently and effectively on a remote team.
Interaction from the office and on site with client representatives to successfully execute capital and expense projects.
Work with project controls to track projects in progress and anticipate/manage deviations and/or additions to the original scope.
Work with other disciplines (civil, mechanical, process) to ensure proper design of project
Industrial electrical design engineering experience.
Ability to Lead Projects with local and/or remote team members.

Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering
Professional Engineering License (Michigan, West Virginia and/or Kentucky) preferred
