Mid Level Electrical Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer to support new projects through design, simulation, and hands-on testing of electrical systems and components.

Job Requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

• 5-10 years of experience in Electrical Engineering

• Proficiency in schematic capture; PADS Designer/Layout is advantageous

• Experience with circuit simulation tools such as PSpice, Matlab, MATHCAD

• Knowledge of PCB layout requirements and design review processes; familiarity with CAM350 or CAMview beneficial

• Understanding of Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) manufacturing processes

• Hands-on experience with test equipment including DMM, oscilloscope, function generator, logic analyzer, current probes

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with IPC and MIL standards

• EMI/EMC design practices for CCAs and harnesses

• Motor control knowledge including PWM and PID, servo control knowledge

• Programming skills in C, C++, C#

Job Responsibilities:

• Design circuits from requirements to final prototype design

• Develop component/subsystem requirements from system requirements

• Provide detailed knowledge of serial communication interfaces (Ethernet, USB, CAN, RS422/485, SSI) and video interfaces (SDI, DVI, HDMI, RS170)

• Engage in microprocessor/microcontroller programming using processors like NXP family

Pay Details: $40.00 to $50.00 per hour
