Elearning Instructional Designer!

Russell Tobin/Pride Global is seeking a skilled eLearning Instructional Designer to work hybrid for our client in Nashville, TN.This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic team and gain valuable experience in the ecommerce industry. The position is an 11-month contract role that could be extended for the right candidate.

Job Title: eLearning Instructional Designer

Pay: $31.60/hr

Duration: 11-month contract w/ possibility of extension

Schedule: 40 hours/ week; Monday - Friday

Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite; 2 days remote) in Nashville, TN
We're looking for someone to join our client's learning team who is a strong writer with a passion for clarity and helping people learn. Ideally, you have experience designing and building online eLearning courses, job aids, guides, and other various learning solutions for both internal and external transportation associates.
Our client has technical expertise to help them build interactive, online solutions for on-the-job training, but we need your thoughtful communication and people-skills. We are looking for a self-driven learner who can dive deep into complex content about the tools and systems, and then think through the best way to help other people learn them.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate effectively with subject matter experts to define learning objectives.
• Evaluate existing documentation and to identify best training approach and modality curated to the audience and their needs.
• Work on creating interactive Adult learning courses, instructional guides, training delivered virtually (no live instruction)
• Build processes and templates to minimize the development time for new training materials, and to help others participate in our development cycle.
• Help maintain existing programs to ensure the content remains complete and relevant
• 70% Independent work, 30% Collaboration

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• 4+ years of relevant experience in instructional design, Adult learning theory or designing learning objectives
• Experience using e-learning software, such as Articulate 360, Camtasia, or other video editing tools
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Canva experience helpful (Basic graphic design competencies)
