Job Description: Delaware Resource Group is currently seeking Instructional System Designers (ISD) to support U.S. Navy training systems (pending award). The ISD Team will be responsible for the development and reviewing of courses and material in order to capture and analyze all key training requirements necessary to train students. *This is a REMOTE position*. All candidates must have reliable digital networking capabilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Conducts the research necessary to develop and revise training courses and prepares appropriate training catalogs.
- Develops all instructor materials (course outline, background material, and training aids). Develops all student materials (course manuals, workbooks, handouts, completion certificates, and course critique forms).
- Trains personnel by conducting formal classroom courses, workshops, seminars, and/or computer based/computer aided training.
- Create on screen lessons (OSL) using adult learning theories and industry best practices for instructional design.
- Perform updates to lesson plans and training guides and revise OSLs based on review comments in a Learning Content Management System (LCMS).
- Review training content to ensure accuracy and provide design feedback.
- Format and edit documents and ensure they are meeting design standards.
- Review Government Furnished Information and support meetings with SMEs and Instructional Designers.
- Interact with customer and subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy of instructional content.
- Research and gather training content including coordination with stakeholders for missing content.
- May be required to lead team in execution of daily duties.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Level III (Senior):
- May require a master’s degree and/or Ph.D.
- At least 12 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and independently performs a wide variety of complicated tasks.
- May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered a top-level contributor/specialist.
- Experience with Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or eLearning development software.
- May lead and direct the work of others.
- May report to an executive or director.
Level II (Intermediate):
- May require a master’s degree.
- At least 5-12 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Experience with Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or eLearning development software.
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- May lead and direct the work of others.
- May report to a supervisor or manager.
Level I (Entry/Junior):
- Requires a HS Diploma (BA/BS Preferred).
- Requires 0-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
- Experience with Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or eLearning development software.
- Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- As required.
Security Responsibilities:
- Secret level DoD Security Clearance required.
- Compliance with all company Information Systems security policies and procedures.
