Ekg Technician

Certified Tele Tech/EKG Tech

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Orientation Date: 1/23
• Guaranteed 36 Hours Per Week
• Location: Waukesha, WI
• Shift Requirements: 12hr NOCs, (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) every other weekend and holiday rotation.
• Float Requirements: Candidate may float to Oconomowoc and other units as needed.
• On Call/Call Back Requirements: None

Requirements:

• Required Certifications to be Attached upon Submittal: Certified Tele Tech
• Minimum Experience: Current inpatient acute hospital experience - 1 year
• Charting Experience Required: EPIC
• Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates, Strong Documentation skills
• Covid-19 Vaccine Required unless Medical or Religious Exemption applies

Duties:

• Communicates pertinent information regarding patients based on observation and data collection to the Registered Nurse., Perform the duties of a MT in accordance with WMH policies and procedures, and any department specific policies and procedures.

• Unit Information (Bed size, Case type, Patient ratio): Heart Care Unit
• Scrub Colors: Any
• GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed

Float: Employee should not be asked to work outside of his/her Clinical skills unless approved by employee, unit manager, and shift advisor. Candidate will be required to float to units and facilities based on census.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $35.00 - $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
