Ehs Compliance Officer/Analyst/Engineer

Job Overview
Fry Communications, Inc. is currently in search for an EHS Compliance Officer/Analyst/Engineer.  The EHS Compliance candidate will be responsible for safety as well as compliance for the entire company.  Effective and constant communication plays a major role with this candidate.  This position will report in to the Operations Manager.  Other responsibilities include:

Responsibilities
•    In depth experience with compliance agencies i.e. OSHA, DEP, DER, LNI, etc.
•    Understanding the regulatory guidelines from the different agencies and interpreting them for the company
•    Experience with audits (internal & external) via the compliance agencies
•    Knowing and applying current industry standards and information
•    Completing regulatory documents concerning safety issues
•    Communicating with clients and coworkers about analysis results
•    Project management experience
•    Creating accurate project specifications
•    Finishing projects on time and within budget
•    Evaluate current manufacturing practices and identify those needing improvement
•    The ability to develop relationships with coworkers is useful when making recommendations and changes
•    Create viable solutions for a variety of challenges.  The ability to develop a plan to overcome the problem is important.
•    Use analytical skills to evaluate and interpret data. Individual will also use these skills to create reports and describe the results to company decision-makers.

What your background should look like:
•    Bachelor’s degree in EHS preferred with 5-7 years’ experience in the field
•    Must have proven success with safety improvements in a manufacturing environment
•    Experience in project management is a plus
•    Self-motivation to be able to work under pressure, be flexible, reliable and able to deliver results according to specific targets in direct support of company goals and objectives
•    Great communication skills with proven ability to communicate well both written and verbally
•    Attention to detail / detail oriented
•    Extremely organized
•    Ability to creatively and effectively solve problems in a timely manner
