The EHR Finance Administrator supports KidsPeace with the ongoing finance configuration, finance training and finance user support for the KidsPeace electronic health record/ENRG, clearinghouse and other billing/collection systems.
Job Duties
- Lead design for the KidsPeace ENRG suite of systems as it relates to the finance components within myevolv. Manage finance related ENRG issues and synchronize solutions. Be the primary finance project manager on all projects as well as prioritize project queue in coordination with clinical ENRG design
- Manage the testing of ENRG during the project phase, post implementation for new enhancements and system upgrades. Coordinate tasks to the finance EHR team. Provide feedback on testing results as well as possible fixes/solutions when necessary. Communicate to Patient Account team on any upgrade updates and coordinate timeline with Enterprise Applications
- Support month end ENRG process and maintain data integrity
- Assist and develop training materials for finance related ENRG responsibilities. Develop and maintain system documentation, including data dictionaries and schema, report libraries, style guides, and configuration logs
- Assist with the maintenance and enhancement configuration, workflows, and reporting. Identify finance opportunities with myEvolv functionality and roll out to all parties. Coordinate with Patient Account leadership on any areas for system improvement and prioritize work queue
- Communicate with Patient Accounts, Information Technology, Contracts, Accounting, and other key stakeholders to coordinate ongoing configuration and reporting requirements for financial processes
- Recruit, retain, train, encourage and manage EHR Finance Specialists
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in related field with equivalent work experience preferred. Experience could be considered in place of a degree with the right candidate
- Experience with the Netsmart myEvolv platform, CMS guidelines and AMA coding preferred
- Intermediate technical skill and familiarity with web technology such as browsers (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.) is required. Intermediate skill with the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) is required. Experience with web based technologies and concepts (e.g. HTML, ASPX, JavaScript, Java, SQL Server) is preferred
- Experience in healthcare, behavioral healthcare, finance, or life sciences is preferred, but not required. Two years’ experience in medical billing, medical records or EHR user support preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license preferred
