As a Systems Administrator, you will constantly interact with client management and staff regarding computer technology services and equipment issues. Your attitude displayed is a representation of Prelude and our core values, and therefore effective communication skills are required to accurately interpret customer needs and take appropriate action. You must be able to prioritize and execute tasks in a customer-focused environment, manage time and organize work effectively, and be proactive and enthusiastic.
We are currently searching for an energetic, customer focused, Systems Administrator to join the Sys Admin Team! You would assist in monitoring and controlling computer systems in a client/server environment in accordance with established routines. Systems Administrators assist in determining equipment settings, operating instructions, managing network system tape backup and restoration procedures, and maintaining operating records. Basic knowledge of PC and server processes and operations is required. You must be able to communicate with system users to identify, explain, and resolve less complex problems. Systems Administrators provide support to Service Desk for certain problem resolution and participate in the on call program as required.
You will need:
  • Strong focus on end-user service, analysis and satisfaction.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in Network Administration or Network Operations.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of networks and desktops.
  • Ability to adapt and keep skill sets current on new technology introduced to Prelude.
  • Maintains confidentiality of client and company information and has a strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and guidelines
  • Be available to travel on occasion.
  • PowerShell Knowledge and scripting usage.
  • Office 365 knowledge a plus.
  • Participates in disaster recovery documentation, planning and implementation.
