The EDI Specialist will be responsible for the daily submission of insurance claims to clearinghouse.
This position is 100% onsite in our Tampa corp office.
- Corrects system edits and payor rejections.
- Responsible for all ERA/EFT payor enrollments.
- Works with Manager to identify and resolve edit and rejection trends.
- Utilizes knowledge of the revenue cycle and patient accounts to ensure claims are submitted accurately and error-free.

- Maintain the confidentiality and security of Protected Health Information (PHI) in accordance with UVVC policies, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and other applicable laws and regulations. PHI is a top priority of our organization.
- Other duties as assigned.
- HS Diploma or GED required.
- A minimum of 1 year EDI experience in Healthcare and/or 2 years of accounts receivable/insurance follow-up experience.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite and clearinghouse knowledge.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
