Dog Facility Manager

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Facility Manager. As a Facility Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and supervision to dogs and people in our daycare/boarding/grooming facility. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who loves working with animals and wants to make a positive impact on their well-being.

Duties:
- Supervise and monitor dogs in the facility to ensure their safety and well-being. That includes Daycare, Boarding and Grooming dogs
- Engage in playtime activities with the dogs, including interactive games and socialization
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment by regularly cleaning play areas, and common areas
- Administer medications or treatments as directed by the pet owners or veterinary staff
- Monitor dog behavior and report any concerns or issues to the owners
- Assist employees with training exercises and reinforce positive behaviors
- Interact with pet owners, providing updates on their dog's activities and behavior
- Manage and post in our social media
- Schedule shifts and make sure employees are on time and doing what they are supposed to do

Requirements:
- Previous experience working with dogs in a professional setting (dog daycare preferable)
- Knowledge of dog behavior, body language, and training techniques
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners and employees
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and breeds safely and confidently
- Basic understanding of pet grooming techniques is preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed

Please note that this position requires physical stamina as it involves standing for long periods of time, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and being able to handle energetic dogs.

We have a big outdoor space and the dogs love it. Rain or shine! So you will need to be able to handle working in the weather. We have the indoor space as well but do potty breaks and play time outside even when is raining or snowing.
