Facilities Manager at Providence Portland Medical Center (Full-time, Day shift)
The Physical Plant Manager provides leadership, direction and supervision of staff and activities for the Physical Plant department.

Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Industrial Engineering or a related field. Or equivalent educ/experience
- 5 years' Experience which includes the following areas:
- Management/supervisory experience in plant operations, maintenance and project management in large institutional facilities with history of progressive responsibility.
- Safety programs related to maintenance and plant operations or similar environments.
- Multi-million dollar operations budgets.
- Fire Safety programs.
- Emergency response processes.
- Power quality management.
- Large scale ($1,000,000+) repair and replacement projects.
- Maintenance and construction services contracts.
- Energy efficiency and utility resources.
- Quality improvement processes.
- Joint Commission and Center for Medicare Services (CMS) compliance and survey processes.
- Apprenticeship & training programs for maintenance and plant operations.
- Experience using personal computer with Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook; and automated maintenance management programs.
