Job Description
Requirement:
- Manage and maintain all project-related documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure all documents are accurately recorded, distributed, and filed in the appropriate locations.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with project team members to ensure timely and accurate document control.
- Assist in the development and implementation of document control procedures and processes.
- Monitor and track project deliverables and milestones, ensuring all documents are reviewed and approved in a timely manner.
- Prepare and distribute reports on document control activities and status.
- Organize and maintain the document control system, ensuring easy access and retrieval of all project-related documents.
- Provide training and support to project team members on document control processes and procedures.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Document Controller in the oil and gas industry.
- Proficient in using document management software such as SharePoint, Documentum, or ProArc.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate and timely document control.
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with project managers and other stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Understanding of engineering and technical terminology to facilitate document review and approval processes.
- Proactive approach to identifying and resolving document control issues and proposing process improvements.
