Fine Fettle was given a Notice of Intent to Award a license in Georgia, which allows Fine Fettle to produce low-THC oil for patients to obtain from licensed dispensaries. Our state of the art 118,000 square foot cultivation, processing, and manufacturing facility in Macon-Bibb County is an industry standard facility in the country. We also plan to open five dispensaries around Georgia later this year, with the opportunity to build more as patients of Georgia expand.
About the Role:
Our state-of-the-art cannabis production facility in Macon, GA, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Distribution Manager to oversee our distribution operations. This role is critical to ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant distribution of our cannabis products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Inventory Management, Procurement, P&L Management, Warehousing, and Logistics.
What You’ll Do
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all distribution activities comply with state and federal laws related to cannabis, including packaging, labeling, transportation, and record-keeping.
- Inventory Management: Implement and maintain robust inventory control systems to accurately track product movement, ensure product security, and maintain compliance with state cannabis tracking systems.
- Transportation and Logistics: Develop and manage secure transportation solutions for cannabis products, including route planning, carrier selection, and compliance with transportation regulations.
- Quality Control: Oversee the handling and storage of products to maintain quality and prevent contamination or loss. Implement and maintain quality control standards in accordance with state regulations.
- P&L Management: Manage the distribution center's budget, monitor operational costs, and implement strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce expenses while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Team Leadership and Development: Hire, train, and lead a team of distribution personnel. Foster a culture of compliance, safety, and excellence.
- Safety and Security: Implement and monitor security measures to protect product inventory, employees, and facilities, in line with state cannabis security regulations.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders (e.g., production, sales, and quality control teams) and external partners (e.g., carriers, regulators) to ensure smooth operation and compliance.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related work experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of leadership experience in distribution or logistics management, preferably in the cannabis industry or a similarly regulated field.
- Proven ability to develop and implement operational processes that meet compliance standards.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software, Microsoft Excel, Asana, or similar project management tools.
