Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / Controller / Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Job Summary:

The CFO/Controller/COO will play a crucial role in driving the financial and operational success of our organization. This multifaceted position requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in finance, operations, and strategic planning. The primary objective of this role is to align our marketing and sales efforts with the company mission, set clear goals, and ensure accountability across the organization. Additionally, the CFO/Controller/COO will spearhead our expansion initiatives, overseeing potential acquisitions, mergers, and new business openings. Furthermore, this role will be responsible for optimizing our Surgery Center's operations, maximizing the profitability of our real estate assets, overseeing bookkeeping, and maintaining strong relationships with external partners, including the company's accounting firm and bankers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management:
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth objectives.
  • Oversee bookkeeping activities and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
  • Prepare budgeting, forecasting, and financial statements to guide decision-making.
  • Coordinate with the company's accounting firm to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial best practices.
  • Manage banking relationships and communicate effectively with bankers to support financial operations.
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Streamline operational processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.
  • Implement performance metrics to measure and track operational performance.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Marketing and Sales Alignment:
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align strategies with the company mission.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to drive sales growth and increase market share.
  • Establish clear goals and metrics for marketing and sales performance.
  • Monitor and evaluate marketing and sales activities to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Expansion Strategy:
  • Lead the evaluation and execution of potential acquisitions, mergers, and new business openings.
  • Conduct due diligence assessments and financial analyses to support decision-making.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive expansion plans to enter new markets.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive successful integration and growth.
  • Surgery Center Management:
  • Oversee the operations of the Surgery Center, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Develop strategies to optimize patient flow, resource utilization, and patient satisfaction.
  • Facilitate collaboration with external physicians and healthcare providers to maximize utilization of the Surgery Center.
  • Real Estate Management:
  • Manage the company's real estate portfolio, including tenant relationships and property maintenance.
  • Develop leasing strategies to maximize tenant occupancy rates and rental income.
  • Analyze market trends and identify opportunities to enhance the value of real estate assets.
  • Implement cost-effective property management practices to improve profitability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in senior financial and operational leadership roles, preferably in the healthcare or service industry.
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change and lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements is highly desirable.
  • Experience in real estate management and acquisitions is a plus.
