This position is responsible for providing leadership in all aspects of Warehouse and Building Safety. He or she ensures that the company is meeting established safety standards and is in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations for safety. He or she puts forth operational goals and achieves established objectives in Safety and Cost and may perform other related duties as assigned.
Itemized Responsibilities
- Manage and control all company safety programs and SQF System
- Lead monthly Safety Committee Meetings and manage action item list developed from.
- Coordinate weekly safety training & safety alerts with warehouse management teams.
- Maintain incident/accident reports per company policy.
- Conduct PIT Certification/Recertification on all units.
- Evaluate costs, track all supplies, and maintain inventories as they relate to safety and building.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with associates, peers, and managers within the organization. Maintain compliance in all areas of safety.
