How you'll make an impact:

As manager of the SiriusXM Video Distribution team, the Director, Video Programming oversees day-to-day editorial and video publishing operations at Team Coco, as well as executing on publishing and growth strategy for all SiriusXM-controlled YouTube (and other 3rd party) channels

What you'll do:

• Overseeing the day-to-day video operations for Team Coco, including podcast video clipping, programming strategy, and editorial quality control  for Conan O'Brien Needs A Friend
• Executing on and optimizing SiriusXM's 3rd party video distribution strategy
• Managing day-to-day workflow between SiriusXM's video distribution and post-production teams
• Working with Ad Sales/Partnerships to ensure complete and timely fulfillment of all video ad sales agreements
• Growing audiences/subscribers of existing YouTube/non-O&O channels
• Planning and executing new channel launches for existing SiriusXM podcasts/shows
• Developing and executing maintenance plans for new channels
• Helping to onboard partners to SiriusXM's the affiliate network
• Utilizing YouTube analytics to iterate and optimize content strategies and communicating those strategies effectively with individual talent and production teams 

What you'll need:

• 8-10 years professional editorial/programming experience
• Significant experience managing people or teams
• Excellent (and proven) editorial judgment
• Working understanding of podcasts/podcasting
• Comfort and working familiarity with popular comedy brands
• Proven track record of audience engagement/growth on YouTube or other social platforms
• Fluent and facile understanding of YouTube best practices and expertise in YouTube Analytics
• Analytics expertise and experience with data-driven strategies
• Working understanding of Facebook, TikTok, Instagram and other social platforms
• Basic understanding of video monetization best practices and video ad sales
• Must have legal right to work in US

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $150,000 to $200,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
