- The Director of Total Rewards & HRIS will lead Wisk's enterprise wide Total Rewards strategy that aligns and supports our objectives, optimize Human Resources Information Systems and ensure compliance with associated federal, state, and local requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing effective communication and change management strategies to drive employee awareness, engagement, and understanding of Total Rewards. - Lead key strategic initiatives:
- -Total Rewards - You will design and deliver compensation and benefits programs that are well understood and valued by people managers and employees. You will manage critical initiatives such as the annual compensation cycle including short term and long term incentive plans. These initiatives will help ensure consistency and equity in compensation and drive employee engagement and retention.
- -HRIS - You will lead the HRIS function, oversee the selection, implementation, and maintenance of HR technology systems. In collaboration with stakeholders, select, implement and manage a core HR system, time & attendance system and a payroll system. Build and maintain systems and process side of Total Rewards, including HRIS configuration and partnership with external solution providers.
- -Payroll - You will oversee the payroll processes for the U.S. and Canada to ensure employees are paid timely and correctly based on the countries respective regulations.
- Communication strategies & collaboration: You will develop and implement communication strategies to drive employee awareness and understanding of Total Rewards programs, payroll and HR systems. You will work collaboratively with Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, HRBPs, IT, Finance, Legal, Marketing, various Wisk leadership, and appropriate external vendors on compensation, benefits, payroll and HR technology systems.
- Guidance & Trends: You will provide interpretation of Company philosophy, policy, and principles related to all areas of Total Rewards to employees, people managers, and other stakeholders. This guidance will help ensure that all stakeholders clearly understand Wisk's compensation philosophy and policies. You will monitor external trends and recommend changes as appropriate to ensure Wisk remains competitive in attracting, developing and retaining top talent. This will help ensure that the Company's Total Rewards programs remain relevant and competitive in the marketplace.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant in-country, federal, state and local labor laws, regulations, and industry standards. Implement effective risk management strategies related to compensation, benefits, payroll and HRIS activities.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with internal and external parties, ensuring optimal performance and value. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and innovative solutions.
- You have 10+ years of progressive experience in HR, with a focus on Total Rewards and HRIS, including a strong emphasis on compensation administration, payroll, benefits and HR systems implementations.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, business or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience designing and managing salary and annual incentive programs for all levels of an organization.
- Demonstrated experience with multi state payroll administration.
- Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits principles and best practices.
- Demonstrated experience leading HR technology projects and managing HRIS platforms.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCP, CBP, CPP,, PHR, SPHR) are a plus.
