Responsibilities:
Oversee the development of our website for both desktop and mobile users.
Translate business requirements to technical specifics and develop software
architecture and design based on the customer and company requirements. Mentor
team members, code reviews, design and collaboration with product managers, and
delivery of key pieces of functionality. Analyze the needs of users. Design and
develop solutions using the software development cycle. Take the lead on software
development projects. Lead and supervise other team members. Test software
solutions. Documenting software programs with flowcharts, layouts, charts,
diagrams and other documentation. Learn about developments in the field to stay
on top of the latest advancements. Manage the budgets and timelines for projects.
Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition,
requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions. Engage in strategic
and tactical planning discussions, and collaborate with business customers in
gathering requirements and delivering complete reporting solutions.
This role can be performed from anywhere in the U.S.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science,
Software Engineering, or related field. Five (5) years of progressively responsible
work experience in Software Engineering, cloud architectures/services, frameworks
and libraries or related field. Experience must include: Utilizing Cloud
architectures/services including MongoDB, Cassandra, ElasticSearch, Postgres, SQL
Server, MySQL, Oracle, and AWS RDS; Utilizing tools including Python, Scala,
TypeScript, GraphQL, Spring, Maven, and Selenium; Building backend Rest client
applications utilizing frameworks including SpringBoot, Reactive Spring, Micronaut in
Java and Kotlin; Building reusable UI components utilizing ReactJS; Developing UI
utilizing JavaScript; Developing scripts for build, deployment, maintenance, and
related CI/CD tasks utilizing Docker and Gradle, and deployment in Kubernetes;
Developing software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and
documentation.
M-F, 40 hrs/wk.
