We are seeking a dynamic Director of Talent Acquisition to join our team!
Position Highlights:
The Director of Talent Acquisition plays a key role in assisting with building and transforming the Talent Acquisition function and strategy for Rush Health by providing leadership to enable change. This includes collaborating with the AVP and Sr. Director on TA programs, policies, TA/Recruiting operating model and metrics, Referral approach/programs and capability building of the TA/Recruiting team. This role is responsible to lead the transformed function inclusive of executive to staff level recruitment. This role is also responsible to operationalize diversity recruitment strategies, to include all facets of DEI. This role will lead and develop a team of TA/Recruiters who will drive the internal and external transformed recruiting process for Rush through creative sourcing and emerging recruitment technology. The Director of Talent Acquisition is responsible for ensuring that the TA function aligns with the critical business needs across the organization in accordance with federal guidelines and regulations, Rush policies, and The Joint Commission standards. This role works collaboratively with the AVP of Talent Acquisition and Sr. Director, Talent Acquisition to oversee day to day recruiting operations. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.
Position Responsibilities:
Partner with the AVP of Talent Acquisition and Sr. Director, Talent Acquisition to determine strategic and tactical direction, methodology and resources required to develop and implement competitive internal and external TA/Recruiting programs to attract, assess, select, and integrate best people programming across RUMC with a sense of urgency.
Develop and maintain professional consultative and collegial relationships across organization through understanding of various critical business needs and requirements. Identify value add talent strategies.
Lead, coach, and develop direct reports (TA Managers, recruiters, associates, sources) and project teams in a complex and high volume-recruiting environment to ensure successful execution of TA/Recruiting programs and initiatives in an accelerated manner.
Operationalizes TA/Recruiting strategy and programs that strengthen Rush's ability to attract, assess, and integrate top-tier talent into the organization from executive to staff level roles.
Assist AVP and Sr. Director to build and maintain a data driven TA/Recruiting organization to guide programs, projects and initiatives to systematically and proactively develop plans, analysis and strategies to forecast hiring needs. Analyze hiring results, metrics, and other trends to manage performance of individuals and the team through the lens of accountability.
Solicits and monitors internal and marketplace feedback to evaluate and measure the effectiveness of all recruiting and sourcing activities, modifying processes as needed.
Leverages, identifies, and implements technology (ATS, CRM etc.) process enhancement, programs, and vendor relations required to enable a sustainable but accelerated Talent Acquisition capability.
Strong working knowledge of AAP and diversity initiatives to include Diversity & Inclusion program development and implementation.
Ability to work across the organization to maximize TA/Recruiting D&I efforts.
Detailed knowledge of FLSA, HIPAA, ADA, COBRA, ERISA, FMLA, AAP, EEO and related state and federal regulations/employment law.
Position Qualifications Include:
Bachelor's degree required.
Ten (10) or more years of experience in the HR function, with evidence of career growth and advancement.
Five (5) years of progressive experience in workforce development, workforce planning, organizational design, and Talent Acquisition.
Five (5) years of experience leading people with strong coaching, motivating, and mentoring skills required as well as a strong personal influence style.
Demonstrated core knowledge of and ability to collaborate with all areas within HR such as Talent Acquisition, talent management, compensation, benefits, and employee and labor relations.
Previous experience successfully managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders with a consistent track record of delivering on-time, high quality results.
Demonstrated ability to build constructive, collaborative business relationships across cultures and organization levels including top-level executives.
Strong understanding of and knowledge of innovative technologies that bolster TA process.
Demonstrated ability to toggle between strategy development and tactical execution.
Optimistic yet realistic; upbeat attitude; energetic; ability to work in fast-paced, growing environment.
Can consistently and effectively plan, schedule, identify needed resources and obtain commitments to successfully complete work on time and with high quality.
A collaborative leader and team player, works well with others, source of energy for the team.

Preferred Job Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Organizational Psychology.
Five (5) years of experience in data analysis and interpretation.
Three (3) years or more years' experience in health care, pharmaceuticals, health insurance or a related industry highly preferred.
