We’re looking for a driven Director of Retail Operations who can launch Aescape's owned & operated Retail Operations from the ground up. Your goal is to deliver the consistent, exceptional execution of the Retail Division's initiatives and drive operational excellence as we scale our retail footprint. With ambitious deadlines, we need a tenacious executer who can collaborate cross functionally with Aescape's leadership as we become a leader in the retail industry. What You’ll Do
As our first Director, Retail Operations at Aescape you will…
Directly report to the President of Retail, overseeing all owned & operated Retail Operations and driving consistent execution of company initiatives.
Manage development and implementation of new store opening processes to facilitate growth.
Review and update SOPs and policies through digital platforms.
Collaborate with the Product team to provide necessary product knowledge content to store teams.
Integrate retail systems for efficient logistics and timely product delivery.
Develop operational and procurement best practices in collaboration with leadership.
Create robust reporting for KPIs and retail financials.
Monitor store reporting, identifies needs, and strategizes to fill process gaps.
Implement Asset Protection/LP standards to minimize shrinkage.
Serve as the single point of contact for all retail operational issues.
Manage communication protocol and engagement strategies for store teams.
Coordinate construction projects and post-opening maintenance.
Implement a Consumer Satisfaction program for continuous improvement.
Promote teamwork, brand culture, and core values through personal commitment and empowerment of associates.
What You’ll Bring
5+ years in HQ store support and management, and/or 3 years of multi-unit field management for specialty retailers. Bonus if in tech, fitness, or health & wellness space.
Natural leader with the ability to cultivate and nurture high-performing teams.
Communications expert and leader across the retail business unit
Expert in strategic business acumen with a keen focus on processes for all field KPIs and other key business drivers that directly impact the member journey.
Strong knowledge of all financial aspects of Retail Operations to support the achievement of strategic goals and maximize profitability
Entrepreneurial mindset, tenacious problem-solver, thrives in ambiguity
College degree preferred or equivalent work experience.

The target base salary range is $140,000 - $160,000 + discretionary bonus + equity
