Job Description
POSITION: Safe Habor Child Advocacy Center Director/ Director of Victim Services
LOCATION: Okmulgee County – District 25
STATUS: Full Time
CLOSING: Open Until Filled
SALARY: Commensurate with Experience and Qualifications
Safe Harbor is a location where child victims as well as all crime victims and witnesses can have a safe, private location to assemble and wait for Court appearances. In addition, the Center is equipped to provide a video interview setting for child crime victims.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Applicants should be a trained forensic interviewer or willing to train as an interviewer.
Maintain all data required for VOCA financial reports and monthly payments.
Serve as MDT Coordinator for Okmulgee County while fulfilling all coordinator roles and guidelines including but not limited to collaboration to ensure the best response to child abuse victims, staff cases monthly, create and update protocol.
Find and make available training for team members.
Attend and participate in monthly CCR Meetings with other professionals who work with victims of domestic violence.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of a bachelor's degree, may substitute 4 years of experience or a combination of education/experience.
Foundational knowledge of the criminal justice system is preferred.
Experience in providing education and training programs is preferred.
Knowledge of 01< Grants is helpful.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel, and Teams is required.
