Twin Cedars Youth and Family Services, Inc. provides residential and community-based services in LaGrange, Macon, and Columbus, and East Alabama. Twin Cedars provides a wide range of programs, in order to meet individual community needs. Our programs are very diverse, from prevention to advocacy to maximum oversight residential programs. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Services and/or prior work experience is a related field is required; 2 years' experience a forensic interviewer in a child advocacy program is preferred.
Must have successfully completed forensic interview training through a nationally endorsed program or complete training upon hire.
Strong customer service and case management skills are a must as well as the ability to interface with community-based stakeholders.
Proficiency with grammar and computer skills (Word, Excel and web-based databases, etc.) is a requisite.
Must be willing to assume on call duties as required and work non-traditional hours as needed.
The ability to handle highly sensitive information and confidential issues is a must.
Organizational Relationships and General Description
Reports to the Program Coordinator of the Troup County Child Advocacy Center
Interfaces with Human Service delivery providers within judicial circuit.
Maintains on-call emergency contact information and system for after hour appointments.
Interacts with all Twin Cedars Youth Services (TCYS) staff.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the coordination of all forensic and victim support services for the Troup County CAC
Conducts legally sound forensic interviews
Performs case management duties
Collects and compiles statistical data; completes and submits required reports in a timely manner
Performs administrative duties as required
