Job Title: Director of Security

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the overall security operations of the Seybold Building.

• Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures.

• Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency responders if necessary.

• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.

• Manage a team of Security personnel, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local security regulations.

• Manage personnel and oversee security equipment and technology.

• Handle emergencies and incidents in a calm and effective manner.

• Provide regular security reports to management.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a security management role, preferably in a corporate or commercial building environment. Must have a valid Security License!! Both D & G licenses are required for this role.

• Strong knowledge of Security protocols, surveillance systems, and emergency response procedures.

• Excellent leadership and team management skills.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays if necessary.

• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or a related field is preferred.

• Certifications in security-related fields (e.g., CPP, PSP) are advantageous.

• Must pass a thorough background check and drug screening.
