Director Of Security Law Enforcement/ Military Only

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Security to join our team. As the Director of Security, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our organization's security operations. This includes developing and implementing security policies and procedures, managing security personnel, and ensuring the safety and protection of our assets.

MUST HAVE LAW ENFORCEMENT/ MILITARY EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED. IN ADDITION YOU MUST HAVE HED SOME SORT OF LEADERSHIP ROLE WITHIN YOUR DEPARTMENT.

Duties:
- Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies, policies, and procedures
- Manage a team of Security personnel, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Conduct regular risk assessments and develop mitigation plans
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align security initiatives with overall business objectives
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of Security systems, including access control, surveillance cameras, and alarm systems
- Monitor security operations to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures
- Investigate and resolve security incidents or breaches
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, such as law enforcement agencies or security vendors, as necessary
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in security management

Skills:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent negotiation skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Proven project management experience to successfully execute security initiatives
- Senior leadership experience in a similar role is preferred
- Ability to effectively manage operations and resources within budget constraints
- Strategic planning skills to develop long-term security strategies aligned with business goals
- Experience in business development to identify new opportunities for enhancing security measures
- Proficiency in process improvement methodologies to streamline security operations
