Director of Sales
Our company is searching for a talented and experienced Director of Sales to lead our catering sales team. We are a busy, community-oriented, woman-owned company celebrating over 35 years in off-premise catering and event management. We need an outgoing, self-motivated professional with proven managerial experience and an outstanding record of accomplishment in sales to join our management team. In this position, you will be responsible for creating and implementing successful strategies designed to meet our annual sales targets within assigned regions and accounts.
Your duties will include motivating our sales team, designing strategic sales and marketing plans, and assessing costs and competition. In addition to being an excellent communicator, our ideal candidate will also demonstrate exceptional negotiation and leadership skills. You will continuously develop new venues and new revenue streams, foster relationships with new business, and optimize community partnerships for the company.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate staff to improve customer service with clients.
- Design and implement strategic plans to reach sales targets.
- Develop and promote weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales objectives.
- Draft detailed and accurate sales reports.
- Assess costs and industry trends to establish competitive pricing.
· Estimate sales volume and profit for current and new products.
· Continuously improve the sales training program.
· Meet with sales managers to lead, manage, and assess performance.
- Cultivate lasting relationships with customers to grow loyalty.
- Work with customers to better understand their catering needs and goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in Food and Beverage or Catering operation.
- In-depth knowledge of marketing techniques and best practices.
- Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines.
- Excellent negotiation and leadership skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Pay: $74,137.00 - $85,945.00 per year
