Director of Programs is responsible for managing day-to-day Programs Team portfolio. Director of Programs will also contribute to the creation of new products and services (e.g., tools, policies, and frameworks) to help Greenleaf clients strengthen trauma prevention and mitigation capabilities.

Maintain positive client business relationship in collaboration with Director of Operations

Support business development in collaboration with Business Development Manager, Executive Vice President, and CEO with sales, BD presentations, relationship nurturing & management, communications, management of proposal phase activities - 10%
Engage in a minimum of 80% billable activities

Technical Areas of Responsibility - 50%
Serve as technical portfolio team lead
Develop innovative trauma prevention and mitigation design and implementation capabilities (e.g., creation of tools, assets)
Work with subject matter experts to develop training programs
Manage trauma-responsive training programming from design to implementation, including scope, timeline, and quality assurance for assigned activities
Work with clients to conduct assessments including research, focus groups, document reviews, and virtual interviews
Support the facilitation of group processes, strategy, learning sessions, and face-to-face workshops and conduct training sessions, as needed based on scope of work for assigned program(s)
Ensure that programs and activities focus on leading and managing in high-stress and high-stakes contexts and include culturally/trauma-responsive technical topics, in close collaboration with client subject matter experts where needed to maximize relevance of content and activities for sector participants
Contribute expertise and innovative approaches; bring evidence-based thinking, methodologies, and approaches to training, learning, and leadership development programs
Support team members to set up communication and monitoring systems for programs; develop and maintain program and activity metrics
Work with diverse stakeholders to plan, organize, and facilitate major events/conferences
Advise clients on individual learning plans and other organizational and professional development resources, including external Workforce Learning opportunities
Lead and mentor other team members by providing guidance, overseeing project timelines, and fostering their professional growth
Collaborate across various organizational teams, driving improvements in efficiency, resolving complex organizational and personnel challenges, and championing continuous enhancement initiatives
Bachelor's degree with 12 years experience or a Master’s degree with 6 years experience in a relevant field (e.g., counseling, social work, psychology, or public health with a focus on behavioral health)
Strong leadership, personnel management, and accountability skills
Strong communication skills (both verbal and in writing) in English
Strong project management and organizational skills
Required to apply for a federal security clearance
Familiarity with topics of stress, trauma, resilience, and cross-cultural engagement
Ability to work effectively with people at all levels of an organization
Comfortable presenting on different video platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.)
High expertise in Microsoft Word and Powerpoint for training purposes
Experience overseeing leadership and workforce development programs
Experience designing and implementing 508 compliant activities
Experience in field of international development and working in cross-cultural environments, experience working with international organizations, including the UN System, US state and/or federal Government, iNGOs highly preferred
Fluency in language(s) other than English
Experience working or living in more than one country
Open to occasional international travel
