Fit is seeking a skilled Director of Operations to oversee the day-to-day activities of the company, ensuring that the organization is managed and performing efficiently and effectively.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Participates in the hiring and training of departmental managers; organizes and oversees the work and schedules of said managers
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
- Handles discipline and termination of employees if needed and in accordance with company policy
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Evaluate strategies and programs to measure the achievement of established goals by routinely and consistently reviewing and analyzing key metrics which include, but are not limited to, food cost, ACR, and SOS; identify opportunities for improvement
- Reviews, analyzes and evaluates business procedures
- Implements policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations
- Ensure both customer and work environments are adequate and safe while also meeting all required health and Brand standards
- Plan, direct, control, implement, evaluate, monitor, and forecast budgets to achieve financial objectives
- Communicate and explain new directives, policies, or procedures to managers; for major changes, meet with entire operations staff to explain changes, answer questions, and maintain morale
- Improve customer service and satisfaction through policy and procedural changes
- Lead coordination and integration of efforts among operations, engineering, technology, and customer service divisions to produce smoother workflow and more cost-effective business processes
- Project a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Thorough understanding of practices, theories, and policies involved in business, finance, and Brand operations
- Superior verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in software utilized by the Brand including NCR, DataCentral, and Zenput
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Extensive travel to the markets will be required, at times
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required; Master’s preferred
- Diversified background with at least 10 years of related experience
- Experience with Restaurant365 is a plus
