Job Description
Ensures that the highest level of patient care possible is provided in a cost-effective manner. Evaluates the effectiveness of Nursing care and staff development. Keeps informed of Nursing care trends, new technology, and related developments.
Requirements:
- An academic degree in nursing requires a bachelor's or master's degree; a Master's degree in Nursing or related field is required (Health Administration, Business, Public Health, or Management).
- Current CA RN License.
- 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment preferably at the director level.
- Knowledgeable about State and Federal healthcare regulations pertaining to nursing care.
- Have competency in various areas of human resources, such as labor relations and equal employment opportunity policies.
