Job Description: Join the forefront of data analytics at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as a Financial Analytics Specialist I within our Revenue Cycle Analytics team. You Will:
- Develop visually impactful dashboards that succinctly present key metrics and performance indicators, enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions and track the progress of revenue cycle initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements within the revenue cycle through in-depth analysis, helping to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall efficiency.
- Utilize statistical methods and analytical tools to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within the revenue cycle data, providing insights into the financial health of the organization.
- Employ predictive modeling techniques to forecast revenue trends and potential bottlenecks, enabling proactive decision-making to optimize financial outcomes.
- Craft compelling narratives by translating complex data findings into accessible insights, facilitating effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and fostering a shared understanding of key revenue cycle dynamics.
- Collect and compile relevant data from various sources within the revenue cycle, including patient records, billing systems, and financial databases.
You Have:
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Finance/Revenue Cycle
- Revenue cycle operations or finance experience highly preferred
- Effective communicator
- Strong SQL proficiency, experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel.
