```Job Overview:```
We are seeking a Director of Nursing to join our team. As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Nursing care within our facility. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, exceptional clinical knowledge, and the ability to effectively manage a team of nurses.
```Responsibilities:```
- Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing staff, oversee and manage all aspects of Nursing operations within the facility
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to promote high-quality resident care
- Ensure compliance with all applicable law, regulations, and standards related to nursing care
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of Nursing staff providing guidance and support as needed. Manage staffing levels and schedules to ensure adequate coverage on all shifts
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement resident care plans
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Monitor and manage the budget for nursing services
- Ensure resident rights are respected and upheld
- Stay up-to-date with medical terminology and best practices in nursing administration
```Qualifications:```
- Valid RN or BSN license in Minnesota
- Proven experience as a Director of Nursing or similar role
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- In-depth knowledge of Medicare regulations and guidelines
- Experience in a nursing home or hospice care setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with staff, residents, families and external stakeholders
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Proficient in medical terminology and documentation review
