Lakewood Care Center is a 100-bed, Medicare certified skilled long-term care facility recognized by Nursing Home Compare as one of the best nursing homes in Minnesota based on survey results involving nursing staff, health inspections and quality measures. Mission for LPN Care Center
The Assistant Director of Nursing will assist in implementing, coordinating and evaluating the care and functions of Care Center nursing practice to ensure all residents receive high quality, personalized care.
Duties & Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, and administers nursing service functions as delegated by Director of Nursing (DON)
• Evaluated performance of designated unit personal (direct supervisor of activities dept and charge nurse team)
• Identifies patient care problems and develops solutions
• Compiles required reports
• Assists in investigation and resolution of grievances and adult protection reports
• Assists with recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of unit personnel

• Assists Infection Preventionist and DON with infection control monitoring and reporting in IP absence
• Part of weekend nursing rotation (currently 1:6)
• Assists/back up for clinical components of admissions and discharges when volume warrants
• Completes clinical audits as assigned by DON

Full-time, 40 hours per week, non-exempt

• Current MN RN Licensure
