Find your purpose as an RN in our Daisy Award winning Endoscopy department at the St. Cloud Hospital! This is a part-time position working 32- 48 hours every two weeks. Day time hours Monday - Friday between 7 a.m.-6 p.m. working 8- and 10-hour shifts, every 6th weekend rotation and 1-2 holiday per year. Position does include 1-4 on call shifts per 4-week schedule with a 45-minute response time. This position if offering a $3500 hiring bonus to qualified applicants.
JOB SUMMARY:
As an RN in our Endoscopy department, you will work alongside other RN’s, LPN’s, Endoscopy Techs, CRNA’s and Doctors to provide care to the patients. During a typical day you will see 25-30 patients. You will work with patients who are dealing with a variety of procedures/issues including EGDs’, Colonoscopies, Endoscopic Ultrasounds, ERCPs’, bronchoscopies, Endobronchial Ultrasounds, Super dimensional navigations, feeding tube placements, food impactions and GI bleeds. You will get to work closely with the Doctors and perform a variety of roles including admitting patients, discharging patients, and working with inpatients and outpatients.
EDUCATION:
- Graduate from a nursing program required.
- BSN preferred but required within 3 years of hire.
EXPERIENCE:
- Endoscopic nursing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of nursing principles, policies, procedures, and hospital ethics.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota required.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Completion of a Basic EKG class may be required.
