Role Overview & Core Responsibilities
- Collaborate with local and district instructional staff to interpret and translate student learning standards to support key learning concepts and ideas explored within 3DE cases and competency-based learning experiences;
- Serve as an organizational expert maintaining a working knowledge of a variety of academic subjects, content standards, and learning initiatives common to school districts within the 3DE network;
- Design and develop a portal of standard-aligned activities, planning, and instructional resources that re-enforce key academic standards and core competency development;
- Recruit and manage Content Specialists to create standard-aligned learning experiences aligned to each 3DE learning unit and learning experience;
- Conduct network-wide workshops and trainings to build the capacity of 3DE educators and instructional support staff in aligning core content standards with 3DE learning units and competency-based behavioral standards;
- Inform and consult on 3DE current and future curriculum development to ensure stronger alignment with common learning standards and career-readiness programming;
- Assist in the alignment of 3DE behavioral standards with district-level assessments, evaluations, and student performance frameworks, correlating 3DE learning standards/experiences with specific content learning domains and habits of learning.
Demonstrated Abilities & Desired Experience
- A bachelor's degree from a Professional Standards Commission-approved accredited college or university is required.
- 5 + years of successful classroom teaching, supervisory level education administration, or closely related experience required.
- Self-paced, detail-oriented, and strategic; able to manage various tasks with a variety of stakeholders.
- Highly skilled in instructional and curricular methodologies
- Experience collecting and analyzing data to identify content-specific curriculum needs
- Creative and flexible problem solver
- Experience developing curricular resources for a diverse group
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
