TITLE: Content Scheduling Specialist
REPORTS TO: Director, Content Scheduling
DEPARTMENT: Content – 2000
Overview
Responsible for coordinating the program schedule for OTA and FAST networks, in support of Director, Content Scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Enter monthly schedules into scheduling system. Ensure schedule accuracy, objectives are met, changes are reflected, and contractual restrictions are not exceeded.
- Plan and distribute internal programming schedule grids to affiliates, web-team, guide services, Sales, Senior Management, and other constituents.
- Provide usage, restriction, and schedule availability reporting.
- Attend planning meetings and participate in development of content stunts.
- Assist Director to ensure accuracy and population of formatting, versions, content ratings, disclaimers, runtimes, disclaimer, program descriptors, and others.
- Ad Hoc responsibilities and projects as needed.
- Occasionally requires weekend work and late hours.
Work Environment
Hybrid role working from the office three days per week and working remotely two days per week. Normal office environment.
Requirements:Education and Experience
- 4+ years’ work experience.
- WideOrbit/What’s On Program experience preferred.
- Broadcast television related experience preferred.
- College degree or equivalent work experience.
Skills & Abilities
- Competency in Microsoft Excel required.
- Word and PowerPoint familiarity a plus.
- Detail oriented is a must.
- Extreme attention to deadlines.
- Team player and strong communication skills.
- Strong ability to multitask.
