The Content & Communications Specialist will be responsible for developing, curating, and optimizing content across various platforms. The Content Specialist will be a creative thinker with excellent writing and editing skills, a strong understanding of digital marketing and the ability to align content strategies with overall marketing initiatives.

In this role, you will:

• Develop high-quality, engaging content for a variety of channels, including website, blog, social media, email, presentations, printed materials, external communications and more.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create and maintain meaningful content that is attention grabbing and easy to understand for all target audiences.
  • Collaborate with the internal Content & Communications teams to design and craft content that aligns with the company's brand voice, overall content strategy and business objectives.
  • Ensure all content is grammatically correct, error-free, and follows brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate and implement content measurement strategies including catalog of tracking and key phrases.
• Conduct content audits and research to identify trends, keywords and areas for improvement.
• Assist with SEO optimization by improving and creating content that increases search engine visibility and drives organic traffic.
  • Collaborate with marketing operations to conduct keyword research and integrate targeted wording into content.
• Monitor content performance and make data-driven recommendations for content optimization.
• Researches and utilizes AI tools to enhance high-quality content in various formats for maximum usability with a compelling, consistent voice and tone.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities to be successful include:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field.
• 4+ years experience as a Content Specialist, Content Writer, or similar role.
• 4+ years experience in communications, marketing, and public engagement with a demonstrable body of work.
• Ability to work with a high level of independence and initiative driving projects forward.
• Ability to provide insight and direction, helping to guide team towards shared objectives.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Familiarity with best practices in SEO, content KPIs and content management systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Creative thinking and the ability to translate complex concepts into easy-to-understand content.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and complete a variety of tasks, as directed while still exhibiting their own creativity and initiative as appropriate.
• Must have the ability to build rapport, inspire confidence, establish trust and credibility, and be a part of a team.
