Your role:
As the Director of Human Resources, you will play a crucial role in building and sustaining a high performing, engaged workforce that supports the firm's ambitious growth plans and continued success. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute your HR expertise and leadership to a rapidly expanding, entrepreneurial law firm.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the firm's overall business objectives and growth plans, including the rapid expansion across multiple states and new office locations
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing organizational culture by promoting employee engagement, development, and recognition programs
  • Oversee employee relations functions, including policy development, performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
  • Establish and improve retention standards, developing and designing solutions to retain top performers
  • Implement professional development and training programs to accelerate employee growth and prepare future leaders
  • Collaborate with firm leadership and department heads to understand and support evolving talent needs, organizational design, and workforce planning initiatives
  • Cultivate a positive, inclusive firm culture that engages employees and reinforces the firm's values
  • Utilize HR metrics and analytics to measure HR effectiveness and inform talent strategies
  • Collaborate with practice group leaders to understand current and future talent needs
  • Leverage data and analytics to drive HR decision-making, measure program effectiveness, and identify areas for continuous improvement

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in a professional services or law firm environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong strategic planning, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to lead organizational change and drive HR initiatives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems, HR information systems, and data analytics tools

Compensation:

  • The base salary range for this role is $125,000-$175,000annually
