Where do you fit?
To be a successful Director of Human Resources you must become able to do the following always:
- Provide direct supervision and support of supervisees utilizing the Company model for supervision, Supervision for Success (S4S). Provide S4S training as needed.
- Monitor budget for department financial success.
- Provide success focused employee relations support and performance appraisal coordination and oversight. Work with program and department leadership to ensure that job descriptions remain current and support needs of the Company.
- Manage work comp including responding to and investigate claims.???Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including OSHA and complete all reporting requirements. Participate in the Environment of Care Committee and partner with the Facilities Department to oversee all workplace safety for the Company.
- Develop and provide reports (internal & external) including workforce analysis. Track and monitor trends related to Human Resources metrics. Oversight of HR goals and objectives.
- Coordinate Company Interns and work with programs and departments on intern schedules. Work with colleges on fulfilling internship requirements. Track and maintain documentation for Independent Contractors.
- Follow Company Policy and Procedure and operate according to the Company’s Program Practice Guidelines.

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, non-profit management, public administration, business, social work, child welfare, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
- Demonstrate 5 years of successful work-related experience in child welfare, Human Resources, social work, or business.
- Supervisory experience required.
- Demonstrate a willingness to become certified in Human Resource Management and/or Project Management.
- Demonstrate success in managing projects and report analysis. Proficient in excel.
- 21 years of age. Must pass a background check, fingerprinting, and physical and drug screening.
- Maintain company-required training.
- Ability to travel, driving agency or personal vehicle including at night. Ability to do the occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. Able to walk upstairs. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends. The employee is subject to outside environmental conditions occasionally, inside conditions frequently, with protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature change.
