About the Role:

Pluto Health is looking for a highly experienced and driven Director of Business Development for their Life Science division. The ideal candidate will have a proven sales track record in the Life Science industry, with a strong focus on client relations and understanding the sales cycle. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships, identifying business opportunities, and driving revenue growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute strategic Business Development plans to drive growth and expand market share within the Life Science sector
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing clients while actively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Lead and manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive sales strategies and marketing campaigns
  • Effectively manage and prioritize sales opportunities within the pipeline, ensuring efficient allocation of resources
  • Develop workflows, presentations, and proposals to present to prospective clients
  • Review and negotiate contracts and proposals in accordance with company policies and client requirements
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors in order to provide valuable insights and drive business growth
  • Keep abreast of advancements in digital health technologies and identify opportunities to leverage them within the Life Science sector

Qualifications for the role:

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Business Development, sales, or related roles within the Life Science industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field, highly preferred
  • Proven track record of success in client-facing roles and driving revenue growth
  • Strong understanding of the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and deal closure
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Experience in managing and growing sales pipelines, effectively prioritizing opportunities and meeting revenue targets
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with reviewing and negotiating contracts and proposals
  • Knowledge of digital health technologies and their application within the Life Science industry would be a plus
