WHAT YOU'LL DO
As an Associate DirectorBusiness Intelligence Engineer you will be developing a team of 15-20 BIE's that are all on multi-functional teams - redefining from inside of a global powerhouse. You will help build our next generation of advanced analytics products using SQL, tableau, and python. Examples of problems you will tackle include helping R&D resolve next generation of household products, revolutionizing consumer engagement with personally relevant content, and reinventing our supply chain to eliminate food waste. Furthermore, you will:
- Handle and lead the best BIE's in the CPG industry
- Lead a team of 15-20 BIE's that are working in various agile pods. This will include 1-3 people managers.
- Work with the BIE's on your team to develop, own, implement and deploy innovative Business Intelligence Engineering solutions from: data preparation and pipeline building (SQL, python), data visualization (tableau, PowerBIE), to customer training.
- Partner with BI and Business leadership in strategic planning efforts by proactively seeing opportunity areas to deliver value to the organization.
- Work with your BIE team and own selection, enhancements and integration of radical technologies (data preparation, data visualization, etc) focused on fundamentally transforming the way in which we operate.
- Work with the BIE's on your team to engineer end to end solutions and bring creativity and expertise to business challenges.
- Mentor other Business Intelligence Engineers and Business Intelligence Engineering managers and drive technical standard processes.
- Serve as the chapter lead for the Business Intelligence Engineering chapter: establish standard processes, team norms, and create your roadmap and vision for the team.
- Promote the value of data-driven decision-making.
- Continue your growth and serve as a leading guide in the Business Intelligence community.
- Collaborate with BI leadership to triage, approve, and charter programs and projects
WHO YOU ARE
- You have a Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, Engineering, or Statistics with or proven track record.
- You have at least 5 years of people management experience
- You have mastery in SQL.
- You have expertise in Tableau
- You have expertise in PowerBI and Microsoft's Power Platforms
- You have experience building and owning full cycle end to end BI projects.
- You have validated expertise in Big Data technologies such as Apache Spark, Snowflake and/or Hadoop.
- You have validated expertise in cloud technology like Azure, and GCP.
- You have a consistent track record of developing top BIE talent
