Position Summary
Good Shepherd Communities is recruiting for a system level Director of Building and Facilities Operations for our three campuses. Responsible to ensure all facilities comply with relevant laws, regulations and safety standards, as well as mitigating risk and overseeing safety and security. This individual is responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure consistency across all facilities to include budget & fiscal management, facility planning, building maintenance and managing resources. Directly involved in strategic planning and long-range capital planning to support future needs and growth, to include renovations, additions and new facilities. The Director will provide team-oriented leadership and implement sound asset management strategies across the lifecycle of Building systems to support budget development and capital renewal. Oversight of maintenance, environmental services and grounds department.
Position Qualifications/ Competencies
Education: Bachelors preferred
Experience: 5 plus years' experience in facilities management in healthcare, preferably long-term care
Certification: Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager (CHFM) preferred
Experience with Emergency Preparedness
