ResponsibilitiesWho are you?
The Director of Marketing Analytics and Automation will be responsible for driving data-driven marketing strategies while leveraging automation technologies to optimize marketing operations. This position requires a strong background in marketing analytics, a deep understanding of automation tools, and the ability to align data-driven insights with operational efficiency.
In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing analytics strategy to measure, analyze, and optimize marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and work with stakeholders to improve ROI and impact
- Identify opportunities to leverage automation technologies to improve marketing processes, lead nurturing, and customer segmentation
- Use advanced statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques to derive actionable insights and recommendations from marketing data
- Manage cross-market view and flow of lead generation strategy and associated tracking, reporting and insights
- Develop and manage lead qualification process including scoring or engagement program with sales
- Develop key metrics and maintain consistent reporting cadences across marketing org (monthly and semi-annually) and with market leadership to communicate results, collaborate on new ideas and review areas for improvement (monthly and quarterly)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and optimize data flows between marketing automation platforms and other systems, such as CRM and analytics tools
- Experiment with new concepts, research new approaches and test new technologies
- Present analytical findings and insights to stakeholders, including senior management, in a clear and concise manner, with actionable recommendations
The Director of Marketing Operations has responsibility to supervise:

QualificationsWhat you bring to the Virgin Pulse team
In order to represent the best of what we have to offer you come to us with a multitude of positive attributes including:
- 10+ years of experience in B2B, Enterprise software marketing or related role
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, statistics, mathematics, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in marketing analytics, automation, or a related role, preferably in a leadership position.

- Demonstrated ability to build highly effective and collaborative working relationships.
- Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of statistical analysis, data modeling, and data visualization techniques.
- Proficiency in marketing automation platforms, such as Marketo, HubSpot, or Pardot, and experience with CRM systems and analytics tools.
- Ability to translate complex data and topics into meaningful action.
- Experience working at a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company is preferred.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex analysis findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and provide leadership and mentorship to analysts.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and drive actionable results.

In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $132,000-$165,000. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for target bonus as well as health, dental, vision, mental health and other benefits.
