Resident Care Director

Spring Gardens of Draper has a remarkable opportunity for an exceptional individual to join our awesome team! SHIFT WOULD BE TUESDAY-SATURDAY 8AM-4PM. MUST BE HAVE AVAILABILITY TO WORK SATURDAYS.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

We are searching for an amazing leader to lead overall care operations at our community! This person is hard working, has an optimistic attitude, and loves people.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Resident Care Director works under the direction of the Executive Director of the community to provide quality care to our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Oversees staffing and labor needs.
• Partners with community nurse to meet state regulatory compliance.
• Hiring and training of new team members.
• Coaching and mentoring.
• Responding to the needs of residents and families.
• Cultivating a positive and fun working environment.
• Ensures the care plan for each resident is being followed.

Care Leadership:

There are 3 leaders that the Resident Care Director will help supervise

• Full Time Care Coordinator
• 2 Full Time Leads (One in Memory Care and the other in Assisted Living)
• There is a Part Time Nurse that solely focuses on assessments, care plans, care conferences with families, and state compliance. The nurse does not oversee daily operations such as staffing. The individual will only focus on clinical needs of the residents.

Qualifications

• Positive team player attitude and love working with people
• Working the care floor when needed
• Previous administrative experience in Senior Living or SNF
• Knowledge of various computer systems, particularly Excel and Word
• A high degree of accuracy in all assignments; ability to manage time effectively, work with numerous interruptions, strength in showing initiative, good judgment; employs professional ethics; has a pleasant manner, and good communication skills.
