The Director, Analyst Relations, will report to the Vice President, Communications and be located at a home office or one of e2open's facilities in North America. As part of e2open, you will be responsible for managing Analyst Relations (AR) across the globe to ensure e2open is not only recognized as a market leader in next-generation supply chain solutions that enable end-to-end digital transformation, but also applying advice and insights based on e2open engagements with analyst experts to make informed business decisions. In this role, you will lead both outbound and inbound information-sharing programs. Outbound AR initiatives will focus on informing analysts of launches, announcements, customer wins and other relevant updates in the spirit of clearly communicating e2open's stance in the market. Inbound AR programs will leverage analyst research and advice to clearly convey technology and business trends and market information back into the business, contextualizing analyst insight to inform decisions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and execute a global AR program to ensure that e2open solutions are properly understood and represented by the analyst community
- Develop and maintain partnerships with an established and growing community of analysts and influencers, while prioritizing engagement with the top-tier firms and analysts relevant to e2open
- Manage regular analyst engagements to educate analysts on e2open's vision, strategy, growth, and customer success
- Develop and manage the process of being included in relevant analyst reports, including quadrants, hype cycles, market guides, market clocks, etc.
- Develop an inbound AR program to provide strategic guidance from analyst interactions and research to e2open marketing, product, and executive leadership teams
- Work with sales leaders to share contextualized analyst advice and trends that can inform sales cycles and deal strategies for optimal sales enablement including leveraging key reports
- Contribute insights on messaging and shifts in the competitive landscape to marketing, product marketing, competitive intelligence, and product teams
- Work with marketing and product teams to prepare briefing plans and materials to educate and update analysts on e2open's strategy and major initiatives around key vertical markets.
- Collaborate/consult with marketing team as relevant on analyst report/content-related communications, campaigns, lead-gen programs, and related performance metric tracking and analysis
- Manage subscriptions and analyst budget as appropriate
- Additional duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :
- 7+ years in Analyst Relations and established relationships within the analyst community
- 5+ years in supply chain; experience at SAP, Oracle or JDA is a plus
- 4-year college degree, preferably in Communications, Journalism, English or related discipline; MBA is a plus
- Experience with Architect software a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively with analysts and management professionals, both internal and external
- Ability to synthesize, interpret and summarize third-party analysis and research for cross-functional audiences, including senior executives
- Deep understanding and knowledge of supply chain management processes and the competitive vendor landscape
- Combination of technical proficiency, business acumen, and strong communication skills
- Engaging personality to inspire trust, credibility, and transparency with the analyst community
- Executive presence and demeanor with the ability to explain technology to technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience in presenting in public forums, participating in roundtables, and taking media interviews
- Exceptional teamwork and influencing skills, with the ability to work with others cross-functionally and at all levels within the organization
- Comfortable working with senior leadership
- Can-do attitude and ability to achieve or exceed objectives while working in concert with other team members and colleagues
- Self-starter who does not need to work from a script, thinks strategically, and is not afraid to roll up their sleeves to get the job done
- Detail-oriented and fast-moving once a decision is made
- Ability to manage numerous deadline-driven and high-profile projects simultaneously

- General office environment and responsibilities requiring:
- Extensive use of the computer which involves viewing a monitor and keyboarding for most of the workday
