This position is based in Plano, TX with a hybrid mix of some in-office time and some remote work.
Who we’re looking for
The primary responsibility of this Sr Analyst role is to partner with HR and Manufacturing leaders to develop and implement Positive Team Member Relation (PTMR) strategies which result in positive team member engagement.
Reporting to the Human Resources Business Advisors Manager, this role will support the department's objectives to establish effective relationships with manufacturing and internal HR departments and to facilitate HR development programs and initiatives.
This position will proactively identify gaps, develop strategies, and implement solutions across the manufacturing pillar.
What You will Be Doing
Develop and implement strategic positive employee relations initiatives that support team member engagement in the manufacturing environment.
Partner closely with manufacturing leaders to understand team member concerns and countermeasure effectively.
Identify training needs across manufacturing pillar and develop/ implement training per schedule.
Coordinate with manufacturing business units as appropriate to analyze effectiveness of initiatives including, t/m sensing, team member recognition, communication, and other PTMR programs.
Understand future business and industry trends and utilize data to drive HR strategies.
Lead and develop a team utilizing the Toyota Way as a foundation.
Ensure strong Toyota Way culture through developing supervisory capability and mendomi focus.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Industrial Relations, Business, or related field.
Solid HR background, preferably in more than one discipline with emphasis in positive team member relations.
Experience working with cross functional teams.
Exceptional relationship building skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to navigate multiple frequently changing activities.
Desire to work on an energetic, collaborative team and have fun!
Ability and willingness to travel 25% of the time.
Added Bonus If You Have
HR experience in a manufacturing environment.
HR Professional Certification (SHRM, LRI, or HRCI).
Creative problem solving and project management.
Understanding of NLRB and labor landscape
Understanding of Toyota manufacturing and HR functions
