We operate 24/7/365 and have part-time and full-time Direct Care positions available where we provide care and support to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Hattie Larlham needs compassionate caregivers like you to help us achieve our mission.
Opening:
- Direct Support Professional (DSP)
- New starting rate! $17.00 to $18.50 per hour!
- Location: Mantua, OH in northern Portage County, less than 10 minutes from the I-480 exit in Streetsboro.
- Flexible schedules - Are you a morning person? Be done with work by 3pm. Do you like to sleep in? Start work at 2:30pm. And if you're a night owl, we have a shift for you too! No worries about the weekend either - you only need to work every other weekend. 1st Shift: 6:30am-3:00pm, 2nd Shift: 2:30pm-11:00pm, 3rd Shift: 10:30pm-7:00am
- Guaranteed full-time 40 hours per week or part-time 24 hours per week
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED, preferred
- Must be at least 18 years old
Duties:
- Help with everyday living skills such as bathing, getting dressed, eating, and attending activities and medical appointments.
- Document accomplishments and attend meetings and trainings regarding persons served.
- Maintain contact with family members and provide updates of their loved ones.
- Communicate with other healthcare professionals and work together as a team.
- Know that reliability, punctuality and commitment to this job are very important in providing the best care to our persons served.
