SalaryResponsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities or special needs
- Assist with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Implement behavior management systems to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
- Support individuals in participating in community activities and social outings
- Administer medications and monitor health conditions as directed by healthcare professionals
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals under your care
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding if necessary
- Document and report any changes in behavior, health, or incidents according to company policies
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Direct Support or caregiving roles preferred
- Knowledge of hospice care, senior care, dementia care, or behavior management is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals with disabilities or special needs
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to policies and procedures
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
