Direct Support Professional

Support One is a financially-sound mission-driven organization that promotes independence for adults living with intellectual and developmental disabilities through 'person-centered' supports and services. We're always seeking caring and reliable professionals to help adults with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities to live their best life.

Our individuals love it here and we've created a work environment for Support One staff to also love it here. Our individuals stay in the community (i.e. aquariums, bowling, karaoke, movies, petting farms, safari, sporting events, swimming, theme parks and out of town travel).

The ideal candidate is compassionate about working with adults living with a disability, has a high school diploma or GED, has related experience and basic computer skills and a current Virginia driver license.

Full-time and part-time opportunities are available within 5 different Richmond, VA locations, which includes 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m., 10:00 p.m. - 8:00 a.m. work schedules.

The hourly compensation is $15.00 - $17.00. We pay time and 1/2 for Direct Support Professional staff that work on certain federal holidays.
