Proficiency in Estate Planning
Seeking an Estate Planning Paralegal for a role in Boca Raton, FL. The ideal candidate will provide crucial legal assistance to attorneys. Responsibilities include supporting the preparation and drafting of Estate Planning and Probate documents, managing client interactions, and overseeing the efficient completion of legal procedures. Close collaboration with attorneys, clients, and legal professionals is essential to facilitate the development of wills, trusts, and other estate-planning documents, including Probate Documents and Trust Administration.Compensation:
$55,000 - $60,000 annuallyResponsibilities:
- Prepare legal documents for Estate Planning purposes, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives
- Communicate effectively with clients to obtain necessary information, explain legal procedures, and address any inquiries or issues related to Estate Planning
- Conduct thorough research and analysis on Estate Planning laws and regulations to ensure accuracy and compliance in document preparation
- Manage and organize client files meticulously, ensuring all essential documents are accurately maintained and readily accessible
- Collaborate closely with attorneys to review and finalize Estate Planning documents, making revisions as needed to meet legal standards
- Participate in client meetings, both in-person and virtually, to discuss Estate Planning options, review documents, and address client concerns
- Stay updated on changes in Estate Planning laws and regulations to ensure legal compliance and provide current information to attorneys and clients
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certification is required
- Previous experience as a paralegal, with a preference for Estate Planning or Probate experience
- Strong understanding of legal procedures and documentation associated with Estate Planning and Probate
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational capabilities
- Proficient in legal research and document management software
- Must be eligible to work in the USA without requiring sponsorship
