SalaryPotomac Healthcare Foundation, Inc. is seeking a motivated and energetic individual to join our direct resident care team at our recovery house in Westminster, MD. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team-based environment and have a passion and curiosity for working with those who are struggling with addiction and other behavioral health concerns.
The Direct Care Technician will be responsible for ensuring overall resident safety, supervision of daily resident activities, assist residents with day-to-day tasks, and accurately complete resident documentation and shift notes. The candidate will be able to direct peer run groups with the residents. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, be willing to learn and demonstrate the use of appropriate escalation skills, and provide overall mentorship and guidance to the community. Experience in the field of substance use and behavioral health is preferred but not required. This is a great opportunity for an individual with lived experience!
Minimum Qualifications:
*GED or high school diploma
*Basic computer skills
