Digital Operations Director

As the Digital Operations Director, you will lead the Digital Operations & Agile Teams in efforts to modernize and digitize a global, B2B enterprise. PPG is building a foundational PPG.com website experience and modern marketing technology stack that will be the backbone of an evolving digital experience. We are implementing new ways of working including SAFe-Agile to help establish more collaboration and greater speed of delivery. Digital is bringing together brands and businesses to leverage the capabilities. The Digital Operations Director, reporting directly to the Chief Digital Officer, will be the primary operator of this ecosystem. You will have managed people, processes, vendors, and technology to deliver modern customer engagement.

Responsibilities:
People

• Empathize with customers and our strategic business units to ensure their success engaging with digital customers.
• Collaborate across the enterprise on the delivery of website and content re-platforms into the modern MarTech stack.
• Partner with Digital Product Managers on roadmap priority and development.
• Manage the website resources, deployment, content publishing, QA, and tools through a centralized team, partnering with IT for technology management.
• Manage application and resource vendors, align resources according to Master Services Agreements (MSA), Statements of Work (SOW), budget, and timelines.
• Create support models for ongoing operations of an evolving digital product ecosystem.
• Manage the SafeAgile coach, RTEs, and scrum masters.

Process

• Manage the Digital team's SAFe-Agile program schedule, shared resources, and program maturation.
• Use data to make decisions about operational improvement areas, including internal capabilities and external customer experiences.
• Build internal workflows to optimize enterprise collaboration and deployment processes.
• Ensure processes are in place to escalate customer or technical issues to second or third level response teams.

Technology

• Collaboratively guide alignment to the modern, standard marketing technology stack for website and complimentary applications
• Partner with IT to ensure infrastructure, monitoring, deployment processes, and support services are in place for digital customer experience capabilities.
• Experience in systems-thinking for content publishing, translations, catalog management, search engine optimization, and analytics deployment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience; MBA is preferred but not required.
• 8+ years managing marketing technology, website, or IT support, systems, processes, and vendors.
• 3+ years managing or supervising people.
• Proven financial management skills with operational budget tasks.
